FAQs

Curriculum

What does my child need to bring for class?

Students should bring their aLIVE books, writing materials, water bottle, snacks for break time, and prayer attire.

Will my child learn Quranic Literacy?

Quranic literacy is included in the aLIVE Curriculum. Learning how to read, comprehend, and value the verses of the Quran is one of the key components of the aLIVE curriculum.

My child does not have basic Islamic foundation. I am worried that my child will not be able to cope. Can my child be enrolled in a lower level?

The aLIVE curriculum uses a spiral approach that revisits themes with increasing complexity, allowing students to build knowledge progressively. Therefore, levels are age-appropriate, and there is no need to enrol your child in a lower level.

Can my child with special needs enrol in the aLIVE programme?

If your child has medical conditions or special needs, please provide a medical report from a certified practitioner. While we strive to accommodate all students, our programme may not be designed for all types of special needs.

Recurring deductions will be on every 10th of the month. Should it fall on a weekend or a public holiday, the deduction will be made on the next working day.
Should the first deduction be unsuccessful, a second attempt will be made on the 28th of the month.
Should both deduction attempts be unsuccessful, we advise you to make payment manually via PayNow or Credit/Debit Card.

How do I make payment by GIRO?

To set up the GIRO arrangement, you may email [email protected] to request the GIRO form or approach your Centre Manager for a copy.

Once the form is completed, you may submit it to your Centre Manager or mail it to:
Islamic Learning Hub and Management Office (ILHAM)
20 Joo Chiat Road
#04-01
Singapore 427357
Attention to: Finance Department

GIRO application will take approximately 2 months upon submission for your bank to approve.

While waiting, please continue making payments via PayNow or Credit/Debit Card.

If I activate any auto-payment arrangements now, will it auto-deduct any of the past invoices or outstanding fees?

If there are any outstanding fees, we encourage you to make manual payment for those via PayNow or Credit/Debit Card as soon as possible. This helps to ensure that the outstanding amount is settled promptly and prevents any repeated deduction attempts once the auto-payment arrangement begins.
